Shellie is an engaging speaker, a Blue Sky coach, an educational consultant for University Ready, and Director of Dual Enrollment for Cedarville University.

 

Passionate about helping students and families navigate the transition from high school to adulthood, Shellie has spoken on topics related to homeschooling, dual enrollment, college prep, and career planning at homeschool events across the United States. She also served as a homeschool co-op director, tutor, and college advisor for hundreds of dual-enrolled high school students. Shellie is a subject matter expert on Ohio's College Credit Plus program, a member of the Ohio Association of Dual Enrollment Providers, and a member of the National Association of Concurrent Enrollment Providers.

Shellie and her husband Steve home educated their five sons from kindergarten to college. Now that they are empty nesters, they love to travel, take long walks, and have a quiet cup of coffee before the day begins. In her spare time, Shellie volunteers as a quality improvement advisor and an advocate for shared decision-making in healthcare.
